Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Bangaa is a form-builder service operated by Coderholics. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean Coderholics. When we say "you", we mean either the person who creates forms (a user) or someone who fills one in (a respondent).
2. What data we collect
Account holders: name, email address, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Form respondents: the answers you submit, your approximate location (country and city derived from your IP address), device type, and browser name. We do not store raw IP addresses.
Usage data: standard server logs (page requests, error reports). These are not linked to individual users and are retained for 30 days.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and operate the Bangaa service.
- To send transactional emails (welcome, response notifications) to account holders.
- To show form owners aggregated analytics about their form responses.
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and security threats.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.
4. Data storage and security
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway and is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS). File uploads are stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage. We apply industry-standard security controls and review them regularly.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and form data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a form it moves to trash and is permanently deleted after 30 days. When you delete your account all associated data is permanently deleted immediately.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. Account holders can delete their own account from the dashboard settings.
7. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Third-party services
- Railway — database and application hosting.
- Cloudflare R2 — file storage.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Bangaa after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
